So what if I only post once every 6-8 weeks

A
certain someone asked me today when I was gonna blog again. Truthfully? I haven't thought too much about it lately. I still read for the most part, but rarely comment. I don't know, I guess I've just gotten so much out of the habit that it's hard to start again. But, just to pacify Steve, I'll do a "quickie". Again, that's for Steve.

So, last time I blogged, I had met someone knew and we were dating. And...we still are. Except, now he's actually considered the boyfriend. And...he's still awesome. The more I learn about him, the more I like him.

He's met most of my close friends and they all really like him. That? Is a good thing. A very good thing. He also got the pleasure of meeting my parents a couple of weeks ago and, although we were at a crawfish boil and there were lots of people there, they were able to get to know him a little bit. And? Like him.

This past weekend he took me to meet his parents. I was stupid nervous. I don't get nervous too often, but I really was. I had no need to be. They loved me!!! I mean, how could you not, right? I also get along great with his brother and sister and both of his roommates. So, all in all, things with us? They are good. Real good.

Summer is almost here, so I'm looking forward to spending more time with him since Kaylie will be spending more time with her dad and Alyssa already spends every other week with hers.

Speaking of Alyssa's dad, I am this close to finally being divorced!!! I am hoping that by the end of June it will be final. Hoping!! And then I am gonna have myself a divorce party!!!!!!!

I don't have too much else going on in my life right now. Kaylie is finishing up 2nd grade and, this Friday, Haley graduates from Kindergarten. Which makes me so sad. Those babies are growing up. Thankfully, Alyssa has a couple more years before she starts school.

Well, maybe I will post more often. Maybe not. I don't know. I can't promise anything. But, I am reading...

Ah, thank you! You have returned.

I'm glad things are going so well with you and the boyfriend. I remember when things weren't so happy and you were feeling pretty down. Its nice to see you so happy. I hope this continues.

I always wondered what happened to Memphis Steve, he commented on my blog a time or two, long, long ago. At least...I think it was him.

Glad all is well with the boyfriend!

I'm the same with blogging, I am trying to get a post out there once in a while but if I don't I figure I am on facebook enough for those I am friends with...my status updates are quite enough for some people to know what's going on!

Memphis - It was strictly to pacify you. Although, maybe I'll do it more often, who knows.

Ashley and Beth - thanks, I'm super glad too!

southern - CANNOT wait!!!!!

Emma - he's always around. He's like a bad penny, keeps turning up. I'm with you on the facebook thing. That's kinda why I don't blog too much anymore.

I am so, so happy to read that you're doing so well. You deserve this! You've been put through hell by the soon-to-be-ex-husband the last couple of years and you did not deserve the pain he put you through.

Happiness is the best revenge and I'm so glad your boyfriend is making you happy and that all is so well.

So curiosity... Do you still get to see Haley at all? With her mother being psycho and no longer being married to HIM, I'm glad you're still able to be in that girl's life a little bit, since you're the most normal out of the three (how crazy is that!!! HA!!!!) Love ya!

Catwoman - actually Haley's mom and I have become very very close friends. She's one of my best friends. So, yeah, I get to see Haley all the time and so does Kaylie. Chris can't stand that we are friends, but he just needs to get over it!
